The average value of farmland in Saskatchewan increased 9.4 per cent in 2015, following gains of 18.7 per cent in 2014 and 28.5 per cent in 2013, according to the latest Farm Credit Canada (FCC) farmland values report.
While farmland values have been rising since 2002, Saskatchewan producers should expect the pace of increases to continue to slow in 2016, the Regina-based federal Crown corporation said Monday.
