A 4,400-square-foot home overlooking the South Saskatchewan River in River’s Edge Estates is thought to be one of the most expensive properties ever listed in the Saskatoon area. The asking price is $3.29 million.
It reflects a growing trend among wealthy Saskatonians eager for “more space, more privacy and more land,” according to Jordan Boyes, owner and broker at Boyes Group Realty Inc., which is listing the property.
“I think a lot of the city neighbourhoods, it’s too tight, everyone’s looking into each other’s back yards, so people are preferring acreages that are still within almost city limits,” Boyes said of the home, which is about five kilometres north of Saskatoon.
