ReMax forecasts six percent rise in Saskatoon

“Despite a harsh winter Saskatoon’s housing market remained hot through the start of 2014, states a Spring Market Trends Report by ReMax.

The average sale price for a home in Saskatoon in March was $354,084. a five percent year-over-year increase.

“Strong demand and new constructions show no sign of slowing,” the report said.  “As a result, Saskatoon home prices are expected to increase by six percent through 2014.”

Entry-level properties listed under $400,000 saw the most activity in January and February, due in part to an influx of Canadian’s from other provinces moving to Saskatoon.”
